Easter Party at School

Grace had an Easter party at school on Thursday. Her and her friends had an easter egg hunt and then came inside for snacks!

Then & Now

Yesterday was Grace's last day with her TWO's class! Here's a photo I took of her on her first day and then yesterday!

We sure have enjoyed her teachers this year! This afternoon we'll go back for an End of the Year Celebration and then next Tuesday she starts in her THREE class!

Mothers Day Tea

Graces school hosted a Mothers Day tea the Thursday before Mothers Day. The kids brought a stuffed animal to school with them that day and we measured them, and did a check-up on them to see how much they were loved. We had snacks and the kids sang songs for us. They gave us two gifts: a hand print key chain and a card that stretches out really long with their hands on each end so whenever we need a hug we can just wrap it around us! :)

Yes, I am a photographer. But yes, I'm still going to be a sucker for school photos! Grace had her spring portaits taken last month and we got her CD of images back this week.

Boy is she growing up fast! She's currently napping, and I'm hoping napping some of her sickness away. She woke up yesterday morning around 4am with a tucky cough and a fever that landed us in the peds office before noon. After a negative flu and RSV test it was determined she has the croup and was put on steroids for three days. Thankfully last night her fever broke arond 11:30pm and she woke up this morning feeling much better. She was sad that she couldn't go to school, but she gets to spend the day with me instead! :)

Valentines Day

On Valentine's Day Grace finally made it to a school party. We missed her Thanksgiving and Christmas one but we made it for Valentines!

Grace and her best friend Camden had so much fun rolling each other up in this Winnie the Pooh chair.

After her party it was time to head to ballet. This week at ballet was red and pink week so we had to change from her normal black leotard and pink tights to make her a little more festive! :)

Fruit Cups

I signed up to bring fresh fruit for Grace's class Valentine's Day party! Instead of doing one big bowl of fresh fruit I decided that I would make individual fruit cups for everyone. It was so quick and easy. I just took small plastic cups, inserted a valentine's cupcake wrapper and filled with grapes and strawberries!

School girl...

Grace started her 2 day a week preschool today. She was a little sad when I left and I fought back tears as I walked to the car. I get to clean house and try to catch up on voicemails, emails, and paperwork. I miss her like crazy already, but I'm sure her day will be much more fun than mine.
