First Visit to the Dentist

Grace went to her first dental appointment last week. Although she didn't do very well while the hygenist and dentist had their hands in her mouth- overall it was a good visit. I really liked the doctor we took her to; he was great with her.

She loved this magna-doodle. Cried when she couldn't take it with her as we were leaving.

She got a sticker too!

Cruise: Part II

We cruised all night Thursday and got up Friday morning to take a boat over to the island of Coco Cay, Bahamas! We spent the day laying in the sand and snorkeling. Scott could snorkel all day, but I on the other hand get sick while snorkeling. Although it was a lot of fun, I could only take it in small doses.

Look, it's "Scuba Steve", I mean Scott! ;)

A photo of the ship as we were heading back onboard.

Cruise: Part I

Scott and I went on a cruise from Oct. 28-31. His long time friend Mikey married Jessica on the ship and Scott was asked to be a groomsman! Here's a few photos from our trip...

We first arrived on the 27th and met up with the wedding crowd in Miami. We all stayed there in a hotel as we had to be at the port early the next morning. That night we hung out at the tiki hut at the hotel and Amy, Carrot, and I went to dinner while the boys took Mikey out on the town.

The next day we boarded the ship and it was time for the wedding. Mikey & Jessica got married before we even left port.

After the wedding we all changed back into our regular clothes and got ready to set sail.

Ayden's Birthday Party

On Saturday we went to Ayden's Birthday party. Ayden is my friend Heather's little boy (see post below of Heather's baby celebration)! He turned 2 and it was such a fun party. First we decorated pumpkins!

Here's Mr. Ayden. Isn't he just adorable!

Lots of Ayden's friends came to his party!

After decorating pumpkins we went on a hayride around their farm.

Then it was time to warm up and enjoy birthday cake!

And a quick snap of Bridget & Owen!

Heather is Expecting!

My friend Heather is expecting a baby in just three short weeks! She already has two of the most precious boys you could imagine but now they're adding a sweet baby girl! We took her out to dinner this past Friday night to celebrate Emmie's upcoming arrival.

18 months

Grace turned *18 months* old yesterday! Seriously? I know I say it every time but where has time gone?

She had her 18 month check up today and the pediatrician said everything was great!
Weight: 20.5 lbs. (10%)
Height: 30.75 in. (20%)

16 teeth
Wears either 12 month or 12-18 clothes. Still in some 9 mo and 9-12 mo stuff.

She had 4 shots today and is now running a little fever, but that could also be from the cold she's (we've both) gotten!

Just a few random photos:
Today at the library for Rhyme Time...

Last night in Mommy's Shoes...
(some face, huh?)

And last Tuesday with our new baby cousin Tripp (Lilley's baby brother). Grace LOVES babies!

Love to all!! XOXO

Grace's FIRST Haircut

I took Grace to Mrs. Jennifer's (the lady that cuts Mom's hair) to get her haircut for the first time. As you can tell from the first few pictures it didn't start out so well...

But after a little bribery (a yummy sucker!) she was all better!

Rock Fishin'

October 24, 2010: We had a Sunday Funday and went Rock Fishing! After we went to church we took a picnic out on the boat and tried our hand at catching fish!

Silly Grace and Gigi...

Grace liked looking at the fish, but didn't want them too close to her.

Scott even took a nap (with his bag of pork rinds)

Little Gym

Grace is enrolled in another semester of Little Gym. She gets to play on their equipment, interact with other children, sing songs, do flips, etc. We have a lot of fun while we're there.

Ball fun..

Bubbles...

At the end of every class the teacher blows bubbles for the kids. Not only are they the best (non-sticky) bubbles ever, but the kids have so much fun chasing them and popping them.

NCSU vs. VA Tech

Scott and I took Grace to her second WOLFPACK game last month. Although the pack didn't pull off a win we still had a great time.

Haley was there too!
