Sweet Summertime!

My favorite days of summer are spent on the pier enjoying the sunshine... ...watermelon makes it that much sweeter! :)

Mattamuskeet Sweets

Every year we get a bag of Mattamuskeet Sweet Onions. Usually Scott's aunt goes and gets a truck load for everyone. This year, Scott, Grace, and I headed to Mattamuskeet to get the load ourselves. :)

Hatteras Vacation

We spent a week in Hatteras back in June for the Hatteras Marlin Club Tournament. Scott has fished in the tournament for the past few years. Grace and I look forward to going every year too!

On Wednesday there is a Kids Day and they have popcorn, bouncy houses, and all kinds of fun things for the kiddos. Grace loved the big inflatable houses. Here she is coming down one of the big slides...

Grace-ism

On our way to a birthday party (on 6.16.12) we were running late. I told Grace we needed to hurry as she was taking her sweet time getting out of the house. She stops and looks at me and says, "It's okay, Mom, they won't start the party without us."

Grace is 3 years, 1 month, and 8 days old. :)

Date Night | Concerts

One thing Scott and I love to do is go and see concerts together! Back on June 8th we got to see Darius Rucker and Lady Antebellum!!

Sorry its now almost August and I'm just posting my Photo-a-Day from June. :) Just a recap, here were the prompts for the month: 1. "Morning" / Good morning beautiful. 2. "Empty" 3. "On Your Plate" 5. "Sign" / Sale sign 6. "Hat" / Playing Dress Up. What other random things do you see besides the 'hat'? 7. "Drink" / Chai Latte is my favorite! 8. "6 O'Clock" / Dropped Grace off at 6 o'clock for Date night! 10. "Best Bit of my Weekend" / Couldn't choose just one. We had Date Night, a gender reveal party for friends, marbles museum playdate, and Molly Jane's first birthday party! 15. "Yellow" 16. "Out and About" / Thought this was a pretty nifty concept for when your out and about with kiddos! 23. "Movement" / Grace and Aunt Retta jumping the garden rows. 26. "Where I Shop" / Love when there is a Starbucks inside of Target! I started off with a bang but only ended up completing 12 out of 30 days this month. It doesn't look like July is any better. :)

Grace-isms

Me: Grace would you like to go to McDonalds.
Grace: Sure
Me: Do you want a cheeseburger happy meal or a chicken nugget one?
Grace: Cheeseburger. Can we go inside.
Me: We can. But they dont have a play area in this McDonalds.
Grace: {surprised look as she slams her hands on her legs} You've gotta be kidding me!

Isn't Grace's little hand, just the sweetest!? I hope to go through and photograph this whole calendar to share on the blog soon. Her handprint is showcased each month and it was decorated with a theme/holiday from that particular month!
