Easter Party at School

Grace had an Easter party at school on Thursday. Her and her friends had an easter egg hunt and then came inside for snacks!

Grace and her friend Camryn are comparing how many eggs they found...

Lots of Easter goodies! :)

A quick photo of Grace and me. I used to never be in pictures but now that my phone has the feature to see us while we take the photo, hopefully I can change that. :)

"Mommy, this one is empty! Do you know what that means? He's ALIVE!"

Happy Easter, friends! xoxo

Valentine!

This year for Valentine's Grace and I made cupcakes for Scott the night before since she and I would be in Columbia Valentine's night.

We had to leave some without frosting because Scott's not a big fan of frosting, I wish I wasn't. :)
They both fell asleep on the couch that night.

The next morning we gave Grace a little Valentine gift. (A Dora Rockstar puzzle and a Dora Rockstar movie.)

All ready for school in her Valentine shirt.

After school we rushed to Columbia so I could work at the Oyster Bar that night. I had these beautiful roses waiting on me when I go there. :)

New Years Eve

Our New Years Eve was spent at home this year! We all put our pj's on, even Grace's baby dolls. :)

After Grace went to bed, Scott and I played a serious game of spades with my parents to pass the time before the clock struck 2013!

And just because I had my phone nearby I had to take a photo of one of my spades hands...

Hope your 2013 is off to a great start!

Happy 4th!

Our calendar on our refrigerator looks like this:

Isn't Grace's little hand, just the sweetest!? I hope to go through and photograph this whole calendar to share on the blog soon. Her handprint is showcased each month and it was decorated with a theme/holiday from that particular month!

I'll be making these easy and festive treats tonight:

The recipe for them and a fun patriotic drink is over on She {Hearts} It today!
